Hippocket WiFi Hotspot Arrived

The Hippocket Wifi arrived. It was sent FedEx from France.

I have two units, since Gwyn and I will be apart while Andy and I are at the Formula 1 race in Silverstone. They both powered on, and I was able to connect Gwyn's unit to her phone and my unit to my phone.

Initially, her unit was in French. I sent an email to the Hippocket technical support, and Camille got back to me. She said to start the unit up and connect to 192.168.8.1 from the phone's web browser, click on the link under the download button to take you to the webpage. Then, in the upper right-hand corner you can change the language.

When I turned her unit on the next morning to try the instructions, the unit was in English. I still went through the steps. The language was French, so I changed it to English.

You get the actual unit, along with an emergency SIM card. A USB charging cable, along with a plug. This one will not work in the United Kingdom. A card and a thank you note round out the contents of the package.
